ABOUT LITERACY & BASIC SKILLS (LBS)
Our programs offer exciting opportunities, whatever your goal - employment, apprenticeship, high school, post-secondary education, or
independence.

LBS is a non-credit program to develop basic reading, writing and math skills to help you transition to high school credit, apprenticeship, post-secondary, employment or independence.  Preparation for PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment Recognition) is also offer through our LBS program. Our program offers:

Continuous intake
• Flexible timetabling
• Available at NO cost
• You may be eligible to earn high school credits for life experience
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma recognized by colleges & employers across Canada


Eligibility:

19 years of age or older
• Are not currently enrolled in high school
Funding available for those who qualify
